Best Mascara & Eyelash Curler Ever! ^^

Hii guyss! I've been meaning to do a blog post in.. like... forverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr ~ yh.. u get the drift :)) .. ok, so the best mascara and eyelash curler EVER! well, i think so anyway! teehee x)

Introducing you to my all-time favourite products!

MaxFactor False Lash Effect Mascara in Waterproof Black ~ £10.99
Primark Eyelash Curler ~ £1
So, i absolutely love love LOVE these products and i think they work really well together. I find that they make my lashes really long, holds curls, a bit of volume-ish and i don't even have to eat the eyelash curler with a hairdryer! :O ~ an amazed face hehe xD You can purchase the mascara at Boots or Superdrug for around the same price ( i got mine at Boots) and the eyelash curler from Primark.

This is what the 'function' (i think thats what its called) looks like, it doesn't have springs

You can heat the eyelash curler with a blow dryer if you would like, if its not working for you and it also comes with an extra pink eyelash (rubber?) thing to replace it ( i dont really know how to explain it lol ;s), like most eyelash curlers do! This is the 2nd time i've purchase these because they broke after a year of everyday's use, so it think this is actually of really good quality, and would definitely recommend, plus it's really cheap than ones you can buy from a drugstore ~ it won't break your bank either ^_^

Brush Wands + Bristles :)
I really like this mascara, because its waterproof and  holds my stubborn asian lashes well (omg, so annoying if you know what i mean O_O ) but i think this really helps your lashes from sticking downwards to really pretty curled eyelashes that people can see :) But, i don't think this gives me that much of false lashes, makybe it would word if you have curly, medium-thick lashes.. ;s

The mascara reminds of the covergirl mascaras that a lot of people talk about ( i think in the U.S. mostly), i've read about this and people say its basically the same brand but MaxFactor is a U.K. version, but covergirl is way cheaper than MaxFactor.

I showed a close up so you can see the bristles and some of the wand, the bristles are plastic which i like because the mascaras with brushes that are not plastic tend to clump my lashes and makes them look weirdly spidery effect ( i don't like the look of that lol) instead of 'volumising'. Also, the bristles go from large to small to the tip of the brush, so it can catch your lashes from inner corner to outer corner. My lashes don't really clump/stick together that much using this mascara, but if it does for you, you can use another mascara to seperate your lashes. However, there is a lot of excess product on the tip of the brush, which will clump your lashes if you apply it from the tip of the brush.

Although  have noticed that the mascara smells a bit weird... compared it to my other mascaras (maybelline falsies and one by one etc, bourjois volume fast and perfect) maybe it's because it waterproof or something, im not too sure.. but i don't think thats a too big of a problem anyway because i don't think someone is going to come up to you and smell your eyes/eyelashes LOL that would be weird indeed.... the consistency is really wet (maybe cause it's a waterproof lol?) even after a couple of months, but some people like that.

When i apply the mascara, it takes couple of mins to dry, so i try not to look up or down, incase it transfers to my eyelids or undereyes, but if you have a lash card or you can just use a tissue to try and stop getting mascara on your lids instead.

Ok, you might have been reading this post to see if this is actually WATERPROOF (idk why its in caps. :P ) but yupp it's very waterproof and even using wipes that claim to even remove waterproof makeup, doesn't work. So, i use the No7 Cleanse and Clear Eye Makeup Remover for all skin types! That's a good W/P (waterproof for short if your wondering) eye makeup remover that removes my mascara easily for me, but quite pricey so i bought it when i had a £5 voucher ~ so i only payed £2 woop woop! ;) you gotta love a good old bargain ^_~

** Sorry guys, for taking a long while with this post and the blurry pics below! :( Hopefully you can still see my lashes & the results though :) ** -fingers crossed
